Spread Trading Market	Nasdaq 100 Rolling Daily
The Spread Betting Price	2339 - 2341
This Means That	You can spread bet on the Nasdaq 100 Rolling Daily market to push:   Above 2341, or   Below 2339 This is a 'Rolling Daily' trade and so there is no settlement date for this spread bet. If you don't close your trade and the trading session ends then your trade will roll over to the next trading day. Note: if a trade does roll over then you will normally either receive or pay a small fee for overnight financing depending upon the direction of your bet. For more details see Rolling Spread Bets.
Points (Units) Traded	Spread bets on indices like the Nasdaq 100 market are made in £x per point. Where a point is 1 point of the stock market index's price movement. E.g. if the Nasdaq 100 moves by 50 points then you would win / lose 50 multiples of your stake.
Stake (Trade Size)	You work out how much you want to stake per point, e.g. £1 per point, £4 per point, £8 per point etc.
Short Staking Exercise	If, for example, you had a stake of £4 per point and the Nasdaq 100 moves 31 points, you would lose or gain £4 per point x 31 points = £124.

You Choose Your Stake, Let's Assume You Choose	£3 per point
What Happens Next?	You make a profit of £3 for each point the Nasdaq 100 pushes higher than 2341 Your spread bet loses £3 for every point the Nasdaq 100 goes below 2341
When Betting on a Market to Increase Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	(Settlement Value - Opening Value) x stake per point
Trading Example 1	The Nasdaq 100 moves higher and the spread trading market changes to 2376 - 2378.
Time to Lock in Your Profit?	You may decide to let your spread bet run or close it, i.e. close your spread bet to lock in your profit. In this case you choose to close your trade by selling at 2376.
Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	(Settlement Value - Opening Value) x stake per point
	(2376 - 2341) x £3 per point
	35 points x £3 per point
Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	£105 profit
Trading Example 2	The Nasdaq 100 decreases and the market is revised and moved to 2311 - 2313.
Close and Restrict Your Loss?	At this point, you could opt to keep your position open or close it and limit your loss. In this case you opt to settle your bet by selling the market at 2311.
Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	(Settlement Value - Opening Value) x stake per point
	(2311 - 2341) x £3 per point
	-30 points x £3 per point
Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	-£90 loss

You Decide to Buy or Sell	The Nasdaq 100 to move:   Above 2341? or   Below 2339?
Let's Say You Go Short	Below 2339
You Select Your Stake Size, Let's Say You Choose	£2 per point
So What Next?	Your spread bet loses £2 for every point the Nasdaq 100 pushes above 2339 You make a profit of £2 for every point the Nasdaq 100 pushes below 2339
If You Are Betting on a Market to Fall Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	(Opening Value - Settlement Value) x stake per point
Trading Example 3	The Nasdaq 100 drops and the spread betting market is adjusted to 2274 - 2276.
Lock in Your Profit?	You may choose to leave your position open or close it, i.e. close your spread bet for a profit. For this example, you choose to settle your bet by buying the market at 2276.
Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	(Opening Value - Settlement Value) x stake per point
	(2339 - 2276) x £2 per point
	63 points x £2 per point
Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	£126 profit
Trading Example 4	The Nasdaq 100 goes higher and the financial spread betting market is adjusted and moved to 2392 - 2394.
Time to Restrict the Loss?	You can opt to let your position run or close it, i.e. close your spread bet to limit your loss. In this case you choose to settle your trade and buy the market at 2394.
Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	(Opening Value - Settlement Value) x stake per point
	(2339 - 2394) x £2 per point
	-55 points x £2 per point
