05 August 2011 update - Natural Gas closed sharply lower on Thursday and below March's low crossing as it extends this summer's decline. The low-range close sets the stage for a steady-to-lower opening on Friday. Stochastics and the RSI remain neutral-to-bearish signalling that sideways-to-lower prices are possible near-term. If it extends the decline off July's high, the October 2010 low on the monthly continuation chart crossing is the next downside target.

Stochastics and the RSI remain neutral-to-bearish signalling that sideways-to-lower prices are possible near-term. If it extends the decline off this month's high, March's low crossing is the next downside target. Closes above the 20-day moving average crossing would temper the near-term bearish outlook.

The high-range close sets the stage for a steady-to-higher opening on Tuesday. Stochastics and the RSI are neutral signalling that higher prices are possible near-term. If it extends this month's rally, the 75% retracement level of the January-March is the next upside target. Closes below the 20-day average crossing would confirm that a short-term top has been posted.

Closes below the 20-day moving average crossing would confirm that a short-term top has been posted. If it renews this month's rally, the 62% retracement level of the June-July-decline crossing is the next upside target.
