How to Spread Bet on AUD / USD

The Price:	$1.01890 - $1.01900
What This Means:	Now you can spread bet on the AUD / USD Rolling Daily market to go:   Above $1.01900, or   Below $1.01890 This spread betting market is a 'Rolling Daily' market which means that there is no closing date. If you haven't closed your position and the session ends then your trade will roll over to the next session. Note: if a trade does roll over then you will normally either have to pay or receive interest for overnight financing based on whether you are betting on the market to go down or up. Points (Units) Traded:	Financial spread bets on the AUD / USD market are made in £x per point. Where a point is $0.00010 of the forex market's price movement. E.g. if AUD / USD moves $0.00450 then you would lose/win 45 times your stake.

If You Are Speculating on a Market to Go Up Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	(Closing Price - Opening Price) x stake per point
Example 1	AUD / USD moves higher and the spread trading market changes to $1.02104 - $1.02114.
Lock in a Profit?	You could choose to let your spread bet run or close it, i.e. close your spread bet to lock in a profit. In this example you decide to close your bet by selling at $1.02104.

Example 2	AUD / USD moves lower and the spread betting market is adjusted to $1.01722 - $1.01732.
Close and Restrict Your Loss?	At this point, you could choose to let your bet run or close it, i.e. close your spread bet to limit your losses. In this case you decide to settle your trade by selling the market at $1.01722.
Your Trading Profits (or Losses) =	(Closing Price - Opening Price) x stake per point
	($1.01722 - $1.01900) x £4 per point (£4 per $0.00010)
