Spread Betting Quote:	C$1.33933 - C$1.34013
How the Market Works:	Now you can take a position on the EUR / CAD Rolling Daily market to move:   Higher than C$1.34013, or   Lower than C$1.33933 This is a Rolling Daily trade and so there is no closing date for this trade. If you don't close your trade and the trading session ends then your position will roll over into the next session. Note: if a trade does roll over then you will normally either be charged or receive interest for overnight financing based on whether you are speculating on the market to increase or decrease. Units Traded:	Spread trades on the EUR / CAD market are priced in £x per point. Where a point is C$0.00010 of the FX market's price movement. E.g. if EUR / CAD moves by C$0.00500 then you would win or lose 50 times your stake.
Stake per Unit:	You choose your stake per point, e.g. £1 per point, £5 per point, £8 per point etc.
Brief Staking Exercise:	With that in mind, if your stake is £2 per point and EUR / CAD changes by C$0.00290 (29 points), you would win / lose £2 per point x 29 points = £58.

Fully Worked Trading Example | Going Long of EUR / CAD

You Now Select Whether to Go Long or Short:	EUR / CAD going:   Higher than C$1.34013? or   Lower than C$1.33933?
Let’s Assume You Decide to Buy:	Higher than C$1.34013
You Select Your Stake Size, Let's Assume You Select:	£3 per point
Now What Happens?	You win £3 for every point (C$0.00010) EUR / CAD increases above C$1.34013 Your trade loses £3 for each point (C$0.00010) EUR / CAD goes lower than C$1.34013
If You Are Spread Betting on a Market to Increase Your P/L =	(Closing Level - Initial Level) x stake per point
Scenario 1	EUR / CAD rises and the financial spread betting market is moved to C$1.34415 - C$1.34495.
Time to Lock in Your Profit?	At this point, you could choose to let your spread bet run or close it for a profit. In this instance you opt to settle your bet by selling the market at C$1.34415.
Your P/L =	(Closing Level - Initial Level) x stake per point
	(C$1.34415 - C$1.34013) x £3 per point (£3 per C$0.00010)
	C$0.00402 x £3 per point
	40.2 points x £3 per point
Your P/L =	£120.60 profit
Scenario 2	EUR / CAD falls and the spread trading market is revised and moved to C$1.33557 - C$1.33637.
Restrict Your Loss?	At this point, you can decide to keep your trade open or close it, i.e. close your spread bet to restrict your loss. In this example you opt to settle your bet by selling at C$1.33557.
Your P/L =	(Closing Level - Initial Level) x stake per point
	(C$1.33557 - C$1.34013) x £3 per point (£3 per C$0.00010)
	-C$0.00456 x £3 per point
	-45.6 points x £3 per point
Your P/L =	-£136.80 loss

Spread Betting Example | Taking a Bearish View of EUR / CAD

You Now Decide to Buy or Sell:	EUR / CAD to push:   Higher than C$1.34013? or   Lower than C$1.33933?

When You Sell a Spread Bet Your P/L =	(Initial Level - Closing Level) x stake per point
